Vacation Rental Policies

- Deposits: Advance
reservations advised. A deposit equal to one night's stay
or 50% of stay; whichever is greater applies.
An additional security/damage deposit of $250.00 is due upon
check-in and refundable
after inspection of home and premises at departure.
- Payment: Mastercard,
Visa, Discover or checks accepted for deposits.
Credit cards, traveler's
checks or cash only are accepted on arrival for the balance
of your stay. If you are paying cash on arrival, we need
to have an active credit card on file for breakage or unit
damage. No refund for shortened stays.
- Cancellation:
Full refund, less $30 handling fee upon 30 days notice for most nightly rentals. Reservations for Special Events, Major Holidays, Weekly, Monthly, and stays of 7 nights or longer require 60 days notice, less $200 handling fee. If cancellation occurs within the 30 or 60 day cancellation period, whichever applies, the entire stay is non-refundable.
- If you are concerned about potential health issues, illnesses
in your family or the ferry not traveling to Key West,
please purchase Travel Insurance.
- Returned Checks: A $75
check fee will be charged if a check is returned to us
by the bank for insufficient funds.
- Additional Person Charges: $20
per person per night.
- Smoking: We offer a smoke free
environment. If you would like to smoke outdoors, ash trays
are provided for your
enjoyment. If you smoke inside one of our units,
you will be asked to check-out and be charged a $200 cleaning
fee.
- Roll-a-way Bed, Crib
& High Chair Charges: $20 per bed per night,
$10 per crib per night, $5 per night or $25 for a week
per high
chair.
- Pet Fee: $15
per night, per pet. Please read our PET
LOVERS PAGE. We can recommend restaurants,
bars, night life, dog
parks and beaches in Key West and up the Keys
which are Pet Friendly. We also have crates in various
sizes for
rental if you chose not to bring one.
- Minimum Stay Requirements: Applies on weekends, during special events and during winter/spring.
- Special
Events/Holidays: Different rates and minimum stay
restrictions apply to the following holidays: Memorial Day,
Independence Day, Mini Lobster Season, Labor Day, Poker Run,
Fantasy Fest, Parrotheads, Powerboat Races, Thanksgiving,
Christmas, New Years, Yacht Races.
- Check-In Time: 3:00 p.m.
- Check-Out Time: 11:00 a.m.
- Charge for Special Services: Guests
may contact Fausto’s to make grocery purchases and
have them delivered to our office. Prior to guest arrival
the items will be delivered to the rental unit. The phone
number for Fausto’s is 305-294-5221 or 305-296-5663.
Guests may also visit their website at www.faustos.com. Note:
If our staff needs to shop for arriving guests there will
be a service charge of $25.00 plus 10% of the total bill.
For
extra housekeeping services requested during your stay, $18
per hour per housekeeper
is charged.
- Office Hours: Our office is located at 1075
Duval Street, C-19 (turn left on Simonton St. off Truman
Ave.) and we
are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
- SPRING BREAKERS: Spring breakers are not allowed in any of our properties.
Occupants under the age of 25 must be
accompanied by a parent, guardian
or a family group. If it is discovered that occupants are
under the age of 25
and not accompanied by any of
the above, they will be asked to leave with no refund.
- Late
Arrivals: The code to the late night check-in box is in
your confirmation letter and on the directions which
were emailed, mailed or faxed
to you. If you did not bring them with you, pick up the
RED PHONE next to the office
door and you will be connected
to a person who will give you the code. There are also
Emergency Numbers posted there
as well. Please check-in the
next morning to obtain extra keys, to register and obtain
full concierge services to
plan your days and evenings.
- Hurricane
Cancellation Policy - Effective June 1 to Nov.
30:
We do not refund for inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
We strongly encourage the purchase of Travel Insurance to protect your vacation
investment!
Please
note that we do not sell Travel Insurance, but provide
a link on this website to Travel
Guard International, one of the most reputable and
comprehensive providers in the travel industry.
In the unlikely event that a hurricane evacuation is
ordered while you are a guest, and you have not purchased
travel insurance, you will be issued a voucher for the
unused portion of your stay. Guests holding a confirmed
reservation who are unable to travel because of the closing
of the Key West Airport or connecting roadways due to
a mandatory evacuation and have not purchased travel
insurance, will receive a voucher in the amount of the
room deposit held. Vouchers are redeemable between June
1 and December 1, up to two years from the issue date,
excluding special events and holidays. (Exception: Vouchers
issued for cancellations of Fantasy Fest reservations
can be applied to future Fantasy Fests in the ensuing
two years.)
No voucher will be issued if the hurricane is not a
threat to Key West and you are unable to travel because
of canceled flights or adverse travel conditions outside
the Keys. We strongly encourage the purchase of Travel
Insurance to protect your vacation investment!
